I am not inclined to learn any Rust because of how condescending some Rust people have been towards me and others. I know it’s not Rust’s fault but I just can’t handle such cruelty.

I get what you're saying, but it doesn't really show compassion or empathy, and is perpetuating exactly the problem that is bringing up here.

If the point of the OP was to get empathy, then yeah, I totally missed the mark. If we are talking about people being jerks changing our tech choices, I am pointing it doesn't make sense (to me)

Yeah no problem. Alot of it is based on context too, and severity, which is hard to convey in a tweet. Can be super challenging to work with something when a painful emotional association has been made. Pays to be mindful of that when interacting with anyone.
