I was a fan of the old labeled args syntax too. I guess I knew it was coming so not so much sadness (although definitely prefer without)

Seems there is github.com/purescript/psc now! 😱 Any word on if this will be officially recommended at some stage ?

No the approach has been to separate pkg mgmt from the compiler and let users choose. I might use it in the book one day though.
