"use in real world" aka "using stuff other people built using these things"? Give it time. Theory seems very abstract, but it's everywhere!

These is the foundations our programming langs are built on. I'm actually using natural deduction like this in my day job. Super important.

That said, I dropped out and had to teach myself this stuff because my uni had got it into its head it needed to be a job school.

We do our future a disservice when we conflate university with job school. We need venues for both and better communication between them.
