I really hope we get to the stage where building systems without static type coverage is as unacceptable as building them without tests.

It's definitely reasonable to ask for better proof. Alas it's a hard thing to prove conclusively, which is a big flaw in the argument. 😫

My hunch is that the the frustration of trying to build and maintain software in the dynamically type world is base on some truth however.
