Still working on a game! Just interested from a CS perspective. I'm currently working with

@bjzaba_ Cool! :D I didn't know game dev was a plausible use case for Rust. How are you finding it so far?

The tricky thing will be dealing with the lack of global state. But I'm sure that's a problem that can be solved.

@bjzaba_ What about Go? I don't know if there are any graphics libs, but I've been using it for a while now and I love it :)

I see go as a higher level language, more like python (but with less overhead). Which definitely has its place.

Mandatory GC is a show-stopper in terms of high performance real-time applications.

@bjzaba_ I think it’s kinda true. I mean, manual memory management can really speed things up/un-bloat stuff.

The cool thing is that in Rust, memory management is built into the type system. No malloc/free in sight.
