As somebody who values beauty and design, I want my tools to be reasonably nice to work with. It rubs off on the final product.

Yeah definitely. He's been saying that C++ is a difficult language to work with for a while now, but there's been no real contender

@bjzaba_ btw, have you tried haxe ? I found it was pretty cool.

Haxe is an amazing meta-language. Very cool. But it does suffer from the 'kitchen sink' design philosophy. That's just my opinion.
