Venturing into the depths of the compiler. If you don't hear back from me in a few days, send help. It's self-hosting, which is why some of it looks pretty bad. Hopefully it'll be cleaned up a heap by the time Rust reaches 1.0 At the moment they've been trying to get a stable set of features, refactoring and clean code is less of a priority. By self-hosting I mean the compiler compiles itself. Oh my word it's bloody exciting. You definitely don't have to head into the compiler if you don't want to. I've been using rust for months now, and have rarely looked deeper than the core and std.
