Evolving my Rust projects any further is getting frustrating, I keep bumping face first into features that are locked behind nightly feature flags, shelve it for a year, then come back and find nothing has changed, or the feature has been stabilised except for the bit I need.

I've been waiting for specialisation and GATs since I started using Rust in 2017, I'll probably have to wait as long for const generics to become actually useful, and idk why I don't just slink back to Haskell except that everything ELSE about Rust is so much better.

There's a good of number of current and former conlangers on the Programming Language discord! There's a good amount of crossover imo!
For me, part of the fun of programming language design is the world building aspect. 😅
