I’ve got to figure out how to make and maintain more meaningful friendships as someone who doesn’t actually do anything except work on stuff and read about things and doesn’t particularly want to do much else feels dumb to admit it but I’ve completely failed at this as an adult

Thanks for saying this, I feel this a lot too. I tend to get stuck in my own world and time slips by… which is fun and fascinating and exciting, until I stop for a moment and then the loneliness kicks in. :(
