if we're doing edit button takes: I think a button that lets you edit your tweet within a minute of it being posted and/or edit history would be fine, but anything more free than that will enable disinformation

Yeah, I think so.
Retractions would be useful too (ie. being able to strikethrough a tweet you made, with a followup comment). I've wanted that for years :(
