anti-sum type people always confuse me. like, why is "and" okay but "or" is some affront of complexity?

Yeah I've bumped into them a couple of times. Usually defending Go's use of multiple-return types for fallible things. 😵💫

A justification I got for Go's design choice was ‘tagged unions are to complicated and hard to understand by most programmers’. heh.
