I am trying hard not to burn out, but all I want to do on a Saturday is figure out that inner loop invariant and forcing myself to not do that doesn’t feel like it is doing my work-life balance much good. At least right now.

I hope someone has the right advice for work-life balance, that allows bursts of work and life to flow naturally. Unfortunately for me if the pleasant flow is left unmanaged, it can interferes with obvious human needs like food and sleep. Then it’s all less pleasant.

Yeah! Interested to know if you find anything. Been trying to pick up ADHD/ASD-friendly productivity ideas (which I think impacts me), but keeping healthy is important too. For me a big thing is keeping up with interpersonal relationships, friends and family, etc.

Definitely, I would be keen on ideas that work for you. I am enjoying my new fitbit with the two hour spaced silent alarms whose purpose is to give me a rough sense of time throughout the day. The sleep tracking is also useful to stay aware of sleep duration and quality.

Also just to clarify any smart watch or arm wrist band that vibrates would do. I just set regular spaced alarms to counteract my lack of natural instinct for the passing of time.

Just shooting in the dark here. This seems to kind of work. Before that i tried timed sound alarms they were very stressful. These stop by themselves if i ignore them and give a general coarse sense of time.
