i mean, everyone who worked on rust 1.0 is getting pretty close to 10 years of experience with the language
pretty soon we'll be able to apply to entry-level positions!

whew yeah I think it'll be 10 years for me towards the end of this year :O

I'm well aware though that there are peeps with far less experience in Rust who could do rings around me so it really drives home how little this matters.
At least I've got some anecdotes about how goofy it used to be
