Do you think that Game of Thrones/George R.R. Martin fans, that are mad about an uneven series and an unfinished book are mad that his best work is evidently coming through in a game that got finished?

Woah, didn't know George R.R. Martin was behind it. Played a bit of Dark Souls 3 and really enjoyed the soft world building and environment design. Sadly I don't really have a fancy gaming setup to play it on :(

Yeah, I thought he was a bit of hype, but it looks like he's had quite an influence on the design and the character backgrounds.

Yeah, I mean FromSoftware were already great at world building – I can see how a collaboration with R. R. Martin could go in some really interesting, cool directions, and have the potential to work really well.
