Couldn’t be happier with and self hosting vaultwarden. I bailed when 1password axed the local vaults and pushed the cloud aspect.

Thanks for the suggestion, Bitwarden does look pretty compelling. Switching poses a challenge for me. I use 1Password on Linux, macOS, Windows, iOS, and FreeBSD (via web UI). I'm going to see how this plays out for a bit. Perhaps the response will make them reconsider.

Yeah that is one saving grace. Also looking at KeePassXC potentially? 🤔
the fact that KeePass doesn't do its own sync means you have to cobble something together on top of Dropbox/Google Drive/whatever the cool kids are using these days. i use it but i wouldn't recommend it
