Started playing around with Obsidian yesterday, and it's got me thinking about Cormier's stuff on Rhizomatic Education again.

Oh interesting post!
I have just been doing my notes/digital garden in VS Code… I use the foam extension thing. Probably need to move to a more systematic way of organising stuff, like zettelkasten.
How do you find Obsidian?

I love it at the moment, but it's early days.
I've got some loose ideas about organising it, but letting it grow organically for now and seeing what shapes / structures suggest themselves.
That I can sync it with GitHub is 💯 though...
prior to this I was using Evernote 👎

Nice. Have you checked out Zettelkasten re. organisation? It's extreme but interesting.
I've been tossing up between VS Code (using something like Foam or Dendron), Obsidian, or Zettlr. Yeah, anything's better than Evernote haha.

Funnily enough I posted about picking up Obsidian in the work dev channel this morning, and followed up with this:

atm my note taking is super disjointed ehehe. just not sure I can commit to having a weird ID for each of my notes yet

Wish for a projectional note editor that would use some sort of 'display name' that could be defined on the source note. Or something like that
