Devs with Macs running M1 chips - have all the rough edges been smoothed out? Any regrets?
Looking a new machines for the new hires and just wanna make sure we're not lumbering them with expensive potatoes!
I'm a ThinkPad guy so I've no knowledge of the current Mac status!

I'm finding mine pretty awesome! You might want to go with a memory upgrade if you are running containers a bunch (I kind of regret I didn't, although I don't make a habit of using Docker if I can help it).

I did need to use a different app for Dropbox (Maestral) though as it's not been updated to the new chipset and apparently ends up being a battery hog due to being emulated through Rosetta.
I've also got it all configured with Nix as opposed to Brew which has been pretty nice, even if it was a bit of work to set up.
