Just curious: have you tried Matrix? I was thinking on deleting my Discord account, although I’m not that active on Matrix anyway. I prefer asynchronous communication 😅

I'd not even noticed Matrix before. Thanks for the tip! Main reason to use Discord is that a lot of people already have accounts and are familiar with it. And I do keep in touch with some people and groups there sometimes. In few words, what's better about Matrix?

It's a bit unpolished compared to Discord, but I bridge my Pikelet discord server to Matrix. Just in case Discord does something ridiculous. It's a bit clunky because Discord doesn't have a good bridging API, but I do have some people chiming in from Matrix which is nice.
