Kinda both? Risks are massively overestimated and there's a queue of about a billion people who'd quite rationally jump at the chance at those odds?

I had some hesitancy about AZ but it's what I ended up getting. I think it's possible to both be thankful for its availability and furious at the government for limiting our options, which is what's happening again here.

Yeah, I got AZ pretty shortly after it was on offer to under 40s. Was nervous getting it even then, but in hindsight I think the issues seem to be overblown. But yeah, definitely angry about the Government going all in on a single vaccine – it was a massive risk to take.
I spoke with my doctor today and he said AZ might turn out to be the better of the lot in the end. It doesn’t have the (relatively) sharp drop off in protection the mRNA vaccines have shown.
