Who do know who does a split shift style workday? What does that look like for you and how did you settle into it / realise that was right for you?

I’ve noticed that I have some golden hour time around 10-2. Then I tend to crash a bit, sometimes a shorter break perks me up but sometimes I just really struggle to get my brain working again for 3 onwards.

But I’ve also found that I really enjoy some evening coding time. It’s chill, less distractions, I seem to be able to get into flow state more easily.
So I’m starting to wonder if I should try to optimise my day for this? Curious about other experiences!

When I was in leadership mode I didn’t experience this slump, which is interesting to me. It might be a transition thing, or it might be that the type of work genuinely changes my experience of energy levels throughout the day. Time will tell!

Oh also daylight savings fucked with me this week so I think I’ve had some more extreme lows in the afternoon because of that!
