So dogs are very social and human-oriented and probably want to talk to us more than most animals do. But I'm curious what animals we've tried to teach different kinds of language from a young age. I know about some chimp studies, Alex the African Grey, and many dogs now

I also appreciate that the owner shows Billi's thinking process by speeding up the video rather than jump cutting – shows that she takes time to process her words.

You always have to be wary of the framing of things like this, but the owner (who is a vet) seems careful not to cherry pick situations and read overly deeply into word choices. Like, she doesn't make out that Billi is pondering philosophical problems, for example.
