Nothing has made me want to learn math more than downloading processing and some sketchbooks for generative art and realizing how easily I could just edit this and make my own stuff if I understood it.

Yup! 10 years after getting into programming with processing, I now get to play around with programming language design and building tools for formalising mathematics on computers! It was a great way to get started, and I'm thankful for its existence!
