I have mixed feelings about this. I see the need for transition of coal communities but ......if I was redistributing wealth from dodgey corporations, there are those with more dire need.

It’s not really about need, it’s about somehow persuading people that we can make this transition. Coal miners seem to be the new farmers, in that their continued income in exactly the job they’re doing right now seems to be more important politically even than human survival.
