Statically typed languages really are safer. For example, I never break my toes writing OCaml code. But just a few days of Python hacking and now I'm on crutches

Dynamic typing is just too extreme for me. Like, how am I supposed to type while walking around like that? Of course I'm going to crash into things that way

I remember having to use dynamic types when I got a programming job in Ruby and JS felt like losing part of my brain… could not keep all the stuff together and was always losing track and forgetting what I was doing 😳
