I'm old enough that everytime I see people discussing the current CRT stuff I have to mentally re-parse it.
My reflex is that everyone is talking about televisions.

When I joined Silverpond and people would mention us doing NLP I thought they meant Neuro-Linguistic Programming (pseudoscience quakery!) instead of Natural Language Processing (much more sensible in a machine learning context!)

The seemingly unstoppable move from ML meaning 'Metalanguage' to ML meaning 'Machine Learning' causes no end of confusion, especially in PL circles!
