I never knew that some programmers were so passionate about the programming languages they use
I would've thought they'd have a love hate relationship because of how much a pain coding is haha

I'm passionate about programming language design *because* programming is so painful! Programming languages were designed and created by people, and we have the power to make new ones that are less painful, or improve and augment the existing ones with the ideas from research!
