I find these categories for verification a bit unsettling - like this elevates a very narrow version of identity that is worthy to be verified on Twitter.

Yeah it’s unfortunate that they don’t have ‘academic’ as an option, for instance… (I follow and talk to lots of academics on Twitter!)
