As who does tech as their day job, I think the whole cryptocurrency stuff is pretty gross and unethical, and it's sad to see the artists I love starting to get caught up in it. 😢

Most of what I've seen is a bunch of speculation at the expense of the environment. Even the proof-of-stake stuff that seems to be the 'answer' to the ecological issues seems destined to set up a new form of oligarchy.
