As an Australian I voted 'more', on the condition that those in higher tax brackets pay a greater percentage of their income than me. And while we're at it, 'yes' to a proper UBI without the government persecuting the poor who are struggling to make ends meet.

In Australia higher income earners pay a higher percentage of their marginal rate as tax but it's not necessarily true and is mostly incorrect that they pay a higher percentage of their income as tax

Also the discussion is about "paying more", but does that mean "raising the marginal tax rate"? Or does it mean "eliminating tax exemptions like Negative Gearing which lower the tax base while hiking real estate prices, making it more difficult to afford a place to live?
