you can get through 5 years of bachelors and masters without ever hearing the phrase “lambda calculus” at Melbourne, and tbh it’s a travesty

I expected better from Melbourne! 😭
I was shocked at how how outdated industry practices were peddled at the expense of teaching even a little history. Kind of shocking after doing part of a design degree that taught the history of modernism/postmodernism in first semester.
