How are other people navigating loneliness from the pandemic and writing a paper at the same time?

Wish I knew this too (not writing a paper though). So easy just to end up hyper-focused on my research and messing around with programming languages and forget to reach out to… anyone?

Yeah, definitely agree with this. Like, when I struggle with motivation I like talking about what I'm doing and it helps me get excited about again.
Dunno if you're the same, but I never thought of myself as really social before the pandemic, because I always struggled with relationships and keeping friends, and it's just made me realise how much this stuff matters for my well-being.
