an unfortunate side effect of having used Linux daily on my laptop instead of Windows for a year is that I now have much higher expectations of software, which are universally unmet

Unfortunate side effect of using macOS is that I expect things to have nice UIs... oh wait everything is electron now runawayrunaway… i do really need to switch to linux anyway…
