I dunno - it seemed a bit stringly typed when I looked at it? Like React seems like it'd be nicer if you like functional programming and Flow or Typescript. But year, haven't delved super deeply into it. The advantage of Vue is that it's not made by Facebook though! 😂

Facebook not being involved in any way is a good enough reason to try Vue! 😆

Indeed! For context I was trying to decide on VuePress vs Docusaurus 2 - former is in Vue, latter is in React. I just ended up going with Docusaurus for the time being. The Facebook connection does make me uneasy, but I dunno?

...and how has your experience been with Docusaurus? Is it good to use?

Ahh it's not too bad! Good if you need docs for something. I think the .mdx language they use is a bit average though - seems like a thin layer duct-taped over markdown with not the greatest error reporting when things go wrong, which is a tad frustrating.

Maybe its time to try Vuepress? ;)

I'd rather have doc versioning support before I switch! And also typescript support would be nice (not sure what the status is on that).

Used neither, so don’t have much idea. But yeah just checked Docusaurus’ docs, it includes localisation and doc search (which is not common in many doc tools) — might even try this for my next project!

Yeah localisation is available for Docusaurus 1, but I think it's still a WIP for Docusaurus 2 (last time I checked).

Oh wait, it seems like it's landed since I last looked!

Oh yes! It does say ‘coming soon’! Do you already have any of your websites powered by Docusaurus? If yes, could you share a link? Just wanna see how it looks!

Not online yet personally, just using it in github.com/pikelet-lang/p
