been meaning to try give this a real go since the organic copy began invoking jaynes. knowledge managers usually chafe me but this has nice enough brainfeel that I just want to tear into the UX instead of gutting the entire model

Oh is this Roam? I've been thinking of trying it out - because I wanted a knowledge manager less focused on tags and trees and more on graphs and connections… a bit scared of investing time into though due to the closed source SaaS model though. How are you finding it?

i like it! i shrug @ the SaaS factor because i'm meh on long-term notes. i'm more concerned with medial random walk avoidance for long enough to find a fixed ish point. roam is... wiki-ish with better flow, esp refactoring. transclusions exist (!!) but need tweaks. still poking..
