languages should be able to express the concept "everypony", which i believe in toki pona is reasonably phrased "soweli lili ali."

yep! I watched about 25 of those, then watched all of their toki pona tutorials, and now have flashcards and things

Yeah I really need to get around to trying to learn… I pretty much have no natural language experience other than English though so learning any non-computer/maths language stuff is pretty intimidating!
Well before I got into programming language design I used try to do conlanging! It's so cool that there are YouTube videos on this stuff now. I've also found Worldbuilding Notes pretty cool: youtube.com/channel/UCncTj – no doubt The Algorithm already recommended it to you though.

I also don't have much, and I'm doing this one specifically because it's pretty easy and I think it would make me more confident about learning other harder languages.
