Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs AKA The Wizard Book.
It was the intro to computer science textbook at MIT a few decades ago, but it's still very much worth the read

I'm slowly working my way through it at the moment. And by that, I mean it's sitting in the pile next to me, but I haven't opened it in weeks.

Ah, I think I've seen it, but not read it. I think I have CLRS somewhere but that's the only one I've kept. Oh, and TAPL of course (types and programming languages), but I have a programming language degree.

Tapl is amazing! Never read it cover to cover but its a handy resource on my desk at work! 😍
Yeah, I'm not sure that I technically read everything, but it is indeed amazing.
I hadn't taken a single theory of PL class in undergrad when I started my PhD in PL, and Pierce *saved* me.
He's also an amazing person. Huge respect for him.
