Can I get some recommendations for error formatting crates? I find myself wanting something more feature rich than `format!`

Here's what I want. * specify an error message and pass in variables like format! * be able to suggest fixes or add notes and additional info like rustc errors * integrate with `tracing` so it can pull in the span context info.

I make https://github.com/brendanzab/codespan… for this kind of thing, but https://github.com/rust-lang/annotate-snippets-rs/… is looking like a better contender these days.

Yea this is what I vaguely knew existed, looking at it I feel like it's not a good fit for general error reporting, because theres really no snippet that's being annotated. I'm not showing a code sample and pointing out issues with it. Maybe I can use a subset of the features tho
