There was much nashing of teeth in the pl design world on this. Claims are a bit overblown and don’t really hold up to scrutiny alas.

People were a bit overly negative and nasty, sadly, esp. wrt. looking at the small amount of funding they were getting via donations.

Agh really? Thats a shame. There certainly are some pretty big claims going on. Hopefully they are able to achieve most of them

Tbh I’m not super confident it’ll happen any time soon based on what I’ve seen of it, but I hope they don’t give up and keep learning.
Yeah it seems incredibly ambitious. It doesn't seem like there is a clear path to achieving a lot of their goals - especially seeing how difficult some of these goals are having watched rust-lang develop. That said, would love to see them pull the rabbit out of the hat :)
