My kingdom for a well defined configuration format, with a non ambiguous way to format, with enums, and the ability to specify common things like "this is not a string it's a path and should be treated as such", and fucking actual comments

YAML and JSON suck for configs. Unless you're a computer. Unfortunately configs need to be read by people and coincidentally be passed by computers
