I have nothing but good things to say about PrinceXML. We've produced more than fifty million print books with it. It's becoming more and more sophisticated, especially with Prince for Books. It's easy to experiment with. And there's great support from @yeslogic. CSS + Print =

Just to clarify: it's not a prerequisite to _already_ be an experienced layout engineer, or even be experienced in Mercury or Rust. We're definitely on the lookout for interesting, curious people who can help change us for the better and see things from a different perspective.

Well said, I see people talk themselves out of applying for positions fairly often. Don't do the hiring manager's job for them, let them decide if they think you're suitable.

Maybe more true to say that frequently job postings don't actually describe what people are looking for, and are frequently more flexible than people realised. I work on a JS engine in C++. I started this job with 0 JS experience and last used C++ in the 90's.
