That’s 7000 people who will tacitly support the Libs. But 🤷🏽♀️

I’m supporting the Greens as first pref. Labor will be somewhere way down, but always above the Liberals.

In the end you are effectively voting for another Liberal governement. Thats what happens when the lefter side of the vote is split to independents. Simple as that, sorry.

Learn how the electoral system works please, so you don't make flawed statements like this. Thank you

Don't be so condescending. I fully understand that system thanks.

Then why do you make the claim that voting indie first then ALP before Lib is "effectively voting for another Liberal government"? That's a serious question, because your claim to understand the electoral system leaves only options that are worse than ignorance

Because you feed an anti alp narrative. 🤨

How is advocating for a government that will block Adani, close the camps and not sell our privacy down the river feeding an anti ALP narrative? Not my problem if your precious ALP meets that criteria

Because you think the Libs will do all these things?

We don't. If we put Labor above the Libs in our preferences, then that still puts them in power thanks to the tendency towards two party rule in our system of local representation+preferential voting. It does however send a signal to Labor that we want their policies to change.
