Built on Chromium too, alas. Which is the main problem.

The problem is a lack of diversity in the browser engine. Both are most are built on Webkit/Blink, which might be nice for front end devs short term, but is dangerous long term.
So you are sad that Brave is spending their time innovating in privacy, advertising, and decentralization rather than building another engine from scratch?

I didn't read it as a complaint that Brave specifically *should* be solving this particular problem, just that they aren't.
