10 years ago I wrote an open source PHP library for the beanstalkd protocol. Keeping up with open source is hard; PRs gathered dust more often than not. I’ve finally handed it to a new maintainer who has done an amazing job of getting it back into shape

Great work! I've done this a few times too for my Rust libs (glfw-rs, gfx-rs, noise-rs, cgmath). It's hard to do, especially when you're not satisfied with the state you leave it in. For this reason I make sure that I keep good design docs and tests as early as possible…
