Great response, I love that the rust team responds to this stuff! RLS is not perfect, but it's improved a ton over its life! No doubt it will continue to improve as you learn more. The query-based approach in rustc seems really cool - will that help in the future?

Yeah, it should help enormously, but it is quite a daunting amount of work and won’t be a silver bullet
