    It is easy to be cynical and assume that wealthy people’s positions are disingenuously self serving, but in many cases, sincere principles guide the trajectory of a career, and the things that wind up mattering to your business truly reflect your core beliefs.

    Today: Lost a court case, climbed a mountain, read hundreds of pages of legal papers, wrote some code. Just as determined as ever to fight on until there is genuine developer and consumer freedom in software, and fair competition in each mobile platform software component.

    What a ride! We made science fiction into reality and inspired a new industry in the process. Oculus was only possible because of such an extraordinary team and community. Thank you! Now, six years after we launched Oculus and Rift, I'm moving on to the next chapter!

    New Asynchronous Spacewarp 2.0 will help VR run better on Rift across all hardware. Using PTW and depth from the app, it addresses the motion estimation artifacts of ASW around rapid brightness changes, rapid head movement with repeating patterns and contradictory movement.
