@giltene Did anyone consider adding HdrHistogram/fio-like histograms to eBPF? Could be even more useful w/ bpftrace, you can pay 4K memory, and get virtually unlimited space exact histogram for any length. With the current bpf maps API it seems like a natural extension. -
Want to add it to bpftrace? Look at the commit history for when I added lhist() and start there. Yes, not hard to add. Also consider adding it to bcc as a helper.
