A perfect example of a perfect twitter line - a comparison entrancing, irrelevant and utterly misleading. Iranian theocracy is a powerful present horror for millions - Bishops in the House of Lords are not.

There are only two countries in the world where representatives of the state religion automatically get seats in Parliament. They are the UK and Iran. #BishopsOut change.org/BishopsOut

unRenewable power—we have totally lost the plot. #Nuclear Power produces orders of magnitude more energy, while consuming orders of magnitude fewer natural resources (including space) than any energy engine ever devised by humans.

▪️This isn't #green ▪️This isn't #renewable ▪️It is environmental vandalism and a waste of the earth's limited resources. Can’t have it both ways … it’s either hundreds of acres solar panels and windmills or oil and gas … PICK ONE! China needs to be replace every 15 —20yrs

Dear - do you really want to be associated with a deal that was done at the expense of millions of South Africans, many of them losing jobs as we speak because our government literally can't keep the lights on?

Tottenham Hotspur have secured a three-year £42.5 million shirt-sleeve sponsorship deal with the South African government — despite the country considering a state of disaster due to record power cuts thetimes.co.uk/article/anger-

What happened to being in control of your own business on property you own/rent/lease. Ask them to leave, if they don’t have police serve a trespass notice? If they return, have them ticketed/arrested? That how every other type of business property works, why not for bakers?

This is a man who made R1 Billion available to small businesses in the Covid pandemic. A true patriot

Violent crime went up by 17% in this police chief's area (Dyfed Powys) last year. I'm guessing that none of that increase was attributable to the lyrics of 'Delilah'.

There’s been a lot of misplaced criticism of this decision to stop singing ‘Delilah’ The song depicts the murder of a woman by a jealous partner For context, approx 2 women a week are murdered by a partner or ex-partner It’s time to sing something else bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-

Weird how a company trading in a high priced commodity has seen an increase in turnover. Whatever next?

Shell has just reported its highest profits in its 115 year history. They made £32.2 billion in profit in 2022. Your gas bill has doubled in a year. Shell’s wholesale costs are lower today than this time last year. A rip off.

WMC is a racist slogan dreamed up by the now discredited and defunct Bell Pottinger company. Only cretins and marxists (is there a difference?) believe such nonsense.

That's one of the BEE outcomes - a policy that was agreed upon between late Mandela and his ANC inner circle of leaders, and late de Klerk's racist white supremacist NP. The main influencers were WMC and the neo-liberal West.

'It's insane!' SA sports federation heads fume over R-billion Spurs sponsorship proposal. The tourism dept’s proposed decision to sponsor English Premiership club Tottenham Hotspur has been met with unhappiness by 3 federations. (Remember the GIANT flag saga) More sheer lunacy!

We aren’t struggling with tourists because no one knows we’re here. It’s because of poor governance. Crime, bad roads, loadshedding, collapsing public infrastructure. An expensive deal with an English club won’t solve those problems. Effective, clean gov will.
