Not a word about the amendments to Articles 2 and 3 of the Irish constitution - Bunreacht na hÉireann. Nothing. Didn’t happen apparently, and people in the South are not referenced in the debate. Woeful standard of discourse. #GFA25

Its is a disgrace. I am judged as 2.0 out of 10 on the 'trauma scale'. I survived the Loughinisland Massacre. I was shot 4 times & watched six men get murdered. I've endured 30 yrs of PTSD. Every applicant should publish their judgement to show this travesty for the insult it is.

Overall results in #LE23: Headline: Nationalist parties got 19,000 more first preference votes than Unionist parties. Nationalists (SF + SDLP + Aontu + IRSP): 300,565 (40.8%, +4.5%) Unionists (DUP + UUP + TUV + PUP + Cons): 281,196 (38.2%, -3.7%)

“A prominent Orangeman, he was strongly against the Act of Union.” (Because it afforded a modicum of rights to Catholics and dissenters).

#OnThisDay 21 May 1807, William Saurin appointed Attorney General of Ireland. Belfast born (Shankill), for 15 years dominated and controlled Irish politics. Daniel O’Connell considered him a 'mortal foe’. A prominent Orangeman, he was strongly against the Act of Union

I never wanted to be anything but a bass player or to have my name appear anywhere other than in the music columns, but evil people had plans for me that were beyond my control, and I will fight them with my last breath.
