i feel no solidarity or sense of kinship with straight trans girls

How is that fair at all? They didn’t choose to be the sexuality they are..? This is a garbage take and something I’d reflect on honestly

we look at sexuality in extremely different ways if you think they didn't choose to be straight. i'm a firm believer in choice-based models of sexuality and gender.

I just don’t think that’s fair at all you’d be genuinely angry if someone implied the same thing about trans people yet you do the same thing about sexuality? I don’t think that’s fair I don’t think anyone chooses who they’re attracted to at all

1) i wouldn't be angry at all if people said that about gender because, in fact, i say that about gender as well 2) i don't believe in defining sexuality by something so incoherent and undefinable as attraction, i believe in defining sexuality by who you date and fuck

gender and sexuality are based in personal and political choices, not some 'innate quality' and the idea of an innate quality is transmisogynistic as all fuck

I’m the one being transmisogynistic when you’re other’ing an entire group of trans people, whatever I’m not arguing with this brick wall if it makes you feel special to alienate certain groups of people you’re just as bad as those who go against trans people
