This complicates the Teletubby lore immensely. Assuming this is canon, it confrims that: - Teletubbies takes place on Earth during the current time period (huge, very disturbing and worrying revelation). - The Teletubbies are susceptible to disease.

I don’t believe that they are from earth but they did recently “visit” earth for the pride festivities in NYC. So it is very possible that they contracted COVID-19 while on earth. They didn’t even wear masks.pic.twitter.com/4j0E4d42Ml

I have my own headcanon where Teletubbies are these... Horrifically violent creatures that carve out the inside of hills. They live in tribes of up to 50 inside of hills. They brutally fight trying to shatter each others screens.
